When you strengthen Mothers, you elevate the family
We believe that with the right networks in place for mothers, families can realize their dreams and reach their full potential. Our three focus areas will assist in eradicating poverty and set the course for mothers of color to achieve success.

We are committed to creating on-ramps for mothers of color to achieve success in these areas.
With your help, we can begin to deliver much needed resources, programs and opportunities to support mothers of color and children.
Why Donate to Urban Mommy
Our programs are %100 free to any any participant. In 2019 we provided programming, events and resources for 455 children and 200 parents and caregivers. Our costs exceeded over $8000 and was completely funded by our founders. In 2020, our budget is set at $35,000 and we expect to serve over 1000 children and and 600 parents and caregivers. With the addition of an office and part-time volunteer coordinators and director we hope to impact twice as many families with additional workshops, a full calendar of literacy events and outreach.
